    Responsibilities

    Overall Duties and Responsibilities: The Multi-Media Consultant is responsible for generating advertising sales of the Vallejo Times Herald array of Multi-Media advertising and marketing products including all digital, print and direct marketing products.

     

    We are seeking an Outside Advertising Account Executive responsible for directly selling print and online advertising solutions that include print and online solutions to include banner ads, AdTaxi, Facebook and new products based on your advertisers needs with well rounded campaigns. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new accounts through cold calling and growing established accounts. As a result of you uncovering your clients needs you will be making advertising recommendations with key decision makers through formal sales presentations. 

     

    To be successful the Multi-Media Consultant must display and execute all the talents, skills and knowledge they bring to this profession every day.

     

    This position also demands account retention and development/growth, prospecting/new customer acquisition and superior presentation skills.

    Qualifications

    Minimum 2 years previous business to business sales experience is required, preferably with multiple product offerings, a consultative sales approach, and on a local level. Multimedia back ground is a plus. The ideal candidate should possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle deadline pressure environment, and have a strong emphasis on attaining personal, team and departmental goals in an ever changing environment is a must. Cold call sales experience a plus.

    This position requires a valid California driver’s license and must provide proof of auto insurance. Local and occasional out of town travel is required.
