The Press-Enterprise is seeking a proven journalist with a passion for digging. We’re looking for someone who will focus on the local communities of Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore and Corona and will hold public officials accountable. The right candidate will be able to easily develop sources within the community, build and grow a local audience and can recognize strong engaging stories for various platforms, including social.
This position is based in Temecula, Calif., but works directly with the editors and reporters in The Press-Enterprise's Riverside office.
We're looking for journalists with the ability to produce strong enterprise and breaking news for online, mobile and print platforms. Our ideal candidates can cultivate sources in person and via social media, write compelling narratives as well as tweets, and are comfortable mining public records for deep investigative pieces.
