    Coordinates projects in support of advertising revenue achievement. Includes support, planning and execution of newspaper branded programs, advertising initiatives and marketing and community events.



    • Supports advertising management with pre-planning, launch, tracking and close of annual advertising programs including special sections and niche products such as Longmont Magazine, Loveland Magazine, Coupon Books.
    • Plans and executes special events like Aging Expos, Summer Camps Fair and Job Fairs.
    • Creates new events in support of newspaper brand and advertising revenue.
    • Tracks competitive media.
    • Manages marketing-related promotional advertising schedules for programs such as themed book sales and annual voluntary pay campaigns.
    • Manages newspaper sponsorships with area chambers, nonprofits and community organizations and ensures all benefits offered the company are realized.
    • Performs other duties and special projects as required.


    • Minimum one to two years of administrative/marketing support and event planning.
    • Excellent customer relations, oral and written communication skills are necessary as well as effective listening skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, manage multiple priorities and ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines is essential. Demonstrated organizational skills required.
    • Proficiency in Google Suite products (Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides are a word processor, a spreadsheet and a presentation program respectively).
    • Knowledge of Adobe Indesign a plus.

    Essential Phyical Functions:

    • Position requires a variety of some or all of the following: lifting (up to 40 pounds), carrying, climbing stairs, walking in a variety of terrain and weather conditions, use of telephone, and driving motor vehicles, setting up exhibit booths, both indoors and outdoors.
    • Frequent keyboarding and mouse work, which requires good finger dexterity. 
    • Vision sufficient to do extensive work on a computer. 
    • Good oral communication skills are necessary for daily customer service.
    • Work is generally performed in a standard office environment.
