    Overview

    Digital First Media is searching for a Director of Programmatic & Yield Management to oversee programmatic sales, inventory management, and the indirect/remnant advertising business across all of DFM's 250+ properties -- such as The Denver Post and San Jose Mercury News -- for desktop, mobile web, and in-app. You will be responsible for vendor implementation and management, yield management, ad trafficking and reporting.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and optimize all programmatic and remnant display inventory for desktop, mobile web, and in-app.
    • Responsible for relationship management, evaluation, and implementation of all indirect display advertising partnerships.
    • Provide financial reporting to executive and senior sales staff, including month-end revenue reporting and attribution.
    • Trafficking of all remnant and programmatic ads, and troubleshooting issues as needed.
    • Produce monthly yield management reports for each of Digital First Media’s regional teams, monitoring pricing, under-delivery, and trafficking accuracy across local, national, and indirectly sold ad campaigns.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years working with an online advertising operations team
    • Experience with SSP vendors, ad tech platforms, and ad networks
    • Experience with 3rd party ad tag implementation, discrepancy tracking/resolution, and troubleshooting
    • Familiarity with HTML/HTML5 a plus
    • Experience with debugging and HTML proxy tools
    • Strong data analytics/statistics skills and understanding of basic finance/accounting concepts
    • Expert level Excel experience preferred
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
