    Overview

    Making and receiving calls in a call center environment to current and non-current subscribers of the Bay Area News Group for purposes of updating account information such as credit card information, addresses and emails. Additionally, this position calls to verify the legitimacy of new orders/delivery and also calls on subscribers in grace. #BANG #Entry level

     

    Responsibilities

    • Customer service skills, a genuine concern for subscribers, able to convey care, and empathy for customers that have had service problems with their subscription.
    • Must be self-starter with initiative. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and work within a deadline-oriented environment.
    • Ideally candidates should have prior experience in a clerical or customer service environment. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to convey care, concern, and empathy for the subscriber.
    • Proficiency with MS Windows, Word, Excel, Email.

    Qualifications

    • Must have regular and reliable attendance.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
