    Responsibilities

Our design hub in Boulder, Colorado, is expanding!  The Boulder Design Hub produces 18 newspapers, ranging from large metro papers in Colorado, Minnesota and Massachusetts, to smaller weeklies and dailies in Colorado.

This is a fantastic time to join our team. The Greater Denver area is booming and you'll be at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, steps from world-class outdoor recreation, an easy drive from some of the world's best skiing and near a metro area with anything you could want (music, arts, pro sports, college sports and the list goes on).

We're a match if you have newspaper experience and a strong portfolio. Recent college grads with relevant internships and a deep portfolio are also welcome. You have a deep understanding of page design, layout and typography, a creative flair for headlines and a good knowledge of grammar, punctuation and AP style. You enjoy working as part of a collaborative, creative team and have great people and customer-service skills, even under deadline pressure.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Successful candidates thrive in a creative, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Work schedule is mostly evenings with some weekend hours and some holidays

Only applications with a page design portfolio will be considered.
